Bird

On this past Sunday, i was relaxing in my living room before going to church, the window curtains spread open to see the not so sunny weather, when all of a sudden i watched a grown bird fly right into the window. I blinked and saw a couple brown feathers in mid air float towards the ground. Not sure i had seen what i had, I looked down to find a ruffle feathered bird nestled on the ground. Worried, i watched the bird until i saw him move his head around making sure he was not hurt, for i was ready and prepared to give him mouth to mouth. Being a dental assistant, we must be prepared to give CPR to anyone, or anything. I looked up in the tree at the nest he lived in and saw his little family. Three baby birds, and a mother, just sitting in the nest, right next to our window. How embarrassed that father bird must have felt to run into a closed window in front of his children. I believe his pride was hurt more than his head that day, trying so very hard to be a valiant role model for his children. He sat on the ground for the rest of the afternoon, and finally flew away, most likely to see a psychiatrist for severe depression and embarrassment issues. For anyone who sees this, i would like to ask a moment of silence for this bird. Thank you.

When you say a grown bird, are you meaning like a Turkey? Because I didn't even know that they could fly??? Well apparently they can't fly very good =). I'm sure he scared the crap out of his children and because of that they will never take that leap out of their little nest and flap their wings, for fear of closed windows popping up and making that flight a dreadful one! The whole bird family will never recover from this incident!!
